Something unique happened in Loutraki — and the experience was simply amazing!

From July 5th to 10th, the top coaching staff of S.L. Benfica came to Sportcamp, exclusively in Greece, offering young footballers aged 8 to 16 the ultimate football experience.

The young athletes who took part in the Sportcamp Loutraki camp had the opportunity to experience firsthand the authentic philosophy of one of the world’s leading football clubs.

This camp wasn’t just a training experience — it was an entry into the world of elite international football. Participants trained according to the philosophy of Benfica’s Academy, which has produced world-class stars like Joao Felix, Bernardo Silva, Ruben Dias, and Ederson.

What made this experience stand out?

It was part of Benfica’s global development program

It featured intense, high-level training sessions

The program mirrored the structure of the first team

All sessions were led by official Benfica coaches

It focused on the individual development of each player

Benfica’s Academy is one of the top-ranked in the world

All this took place at Sportcamp, the largest private sports center in Greece, in an environment full of energy, professionalism, and football passion.

And of course, we proudly remember the top Greek footballers who have worn the Benfica jersey: Vlachodimos, Mitroglou, Samaris, Katsouranis, Karagounis, Pavlidis, Fyssas, Machairidis.
