The European Deaf Table Tennis Championship was held for the first time in Loutraki, from October 18 to 25, 2024. The popular event brought together top deaf athletes from across Europe to compete in a week of high-level table tennis matches. Hosted in the picturesque coastal town of Loutraki, the championship offered exciting competition, showcasing exceptional skills and sportsmanship, while promoting participation and camaraderie within the deaf athletic community.
The event was held under the auspices and support of the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs & Sports, with co-organizers the Hellenic Federation of Deaf Sports and SPORTCAMP. It was also supported by the Municipality of Loutraki-Perachora-Agioi Theodoroi and the Region of Peloponnese.
The competition gave spectators the chance to witness not only outstanding athletic talent but also emotional moments in a beautiful setting, making the event a significant celebration for the deaf sports community.
