Spiros Karavoulis

Managing Director

Spiros Karavoulis is the President & Managing Director of SPORTCAMP S.A. since 1993. He holds a BA in Physical Education from the University of Athens (1989), an ΜΒΑ in Marketing from the Rutgers Business School, U.S.A. (1991) and a PhD in Marketing from the University of Piraeus (2001). In the context of his business activities within SPORTCAMP Group, he is the President & Managing Director of YPANEMA Touristic Enterprises S.A since 2005 and Owner of the Travel Agency “Sport Travel Loutraki” since 2009. Apart from SPORTCAMP, Spiros Karavoulis is involved in many organizations and institutions holding positions of authority:

President of the Loutraki Tourism Organization (2011 -)
President of Hellenic Association of Summer Camp Owners (2006 - 2012)
Member of the Boards of professional and scientific organizations and associations in Greece and abroad in the field of professional involvement (1992- 2000)
Founding Member & Board of Directors’ member of «ARION» Loutraki Sailing Club (1995 - )
Founding Member of HSASMR (Hellenic Scientific Association For Sport Management & Recreation)
President of Loutraki Tourism Organization (2011 -)

During his free time, he is active in sports and particularly in Beach Volley and in the past he was a member Panathinaikos Volleyball Club Youth Team.

Nikos Kerassovitis

General Manager

Nikos Kerassovitis is an executive at SPORTCAMP Group since 2003. He has a BA in Physical Education from the University of Athens (1998) with Major Concentration in Basketball Training and an MSc Degree in Sport Administration from the University of Louisville (2011). His sports career in basketball begun in 1993 and for more than a decade he served as a coach for clubs in the A1 and A2 categories of the Greek Basketball Championship (Dafni B.C., Kolossos Rhodes B.C., Ionikos B.C., Papagou B.C.). Since 2001, he pursued a career in Sports Management assuming the position of Sports Department Coordinator of the Municipality of Pallini. In March 2003, he relocated in the city of Loutraki and undertook the position of Operations Manager at SPORTCAMP Group. During his course at SPORTCAMP he became the Director of Sports Department, which he held until the end of 2013 when he was promoted to Administrative Director for the group. Nikos Kerassovitis is the President of the Hellenic Organization of Company Sport and Health and a member of the Association of Greek Basketball Coaches.

Achilleas Demenagas

Technical Director TNBA Greece

Achilleas Demenagas is considered amongst the leading coaches for young basketball players’ talent development. Since 2007, he implements a holistic approach in individualized improvement and talent enhancement that employs a 12 month per year schedule aiming to maximize performance of the player. He holds a diploma of the School of Physical Education and Sport Science and a Masters’ Degree in “Performance Maximization” from the Democritus University of Thrace. He is a member of the Association of Greek Basketball Coaches with a diploma of A Category.

Michalis Xirogiannis

Sports Dpt Director

Michalis Xirogiannis has studied Humanities and Social Sciences with a specialization in International Relations and Diplomacy, while he has also completed his postgraduate studies in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing at the University of Kurt Bosch.

His professional career began as Manager of the restaurant chain Steers Restaurants in Heidelberg, South Africa, and later in the company Thirties Restaurant in Pretoria, South Africa.

In 1995 he came to Greece and worked as a Security manager at Club Hotel Casino Loutraki.

In 2009 he took over the duties of hotel Front Office manager and the following year he was promoted to Room Division Manager, where he remained until 2012.

A year later, in 2013, he moved to Kos where he worked as Rooms Division Manager at Grecotel Kos Imperial.

From 2016 to 2021 he specialized as Sales and Revenue Director in the Grecotel Group.

From October 2021 he has the position of Sport Department Director in the Sportcamp Group.

Intelligent and creative, organizational and focused on the development of the Sportcamp Group, he is one of our most valuable executives.

Charalampos Pelekis

Sports Events Manager

He holds a BA in Physical Education from the University of Thessaloniki (2004) with Major Concentration in Soccer and Traditional Dances and an MSc Degree in Sports Management from the University of the Peloponnese (2012) with Major Concentration in Marketing. He began his career at SPORTCAMP as a Physical Trainer and was quickly promoted to a valuable executive of the Sports Department, assuming the positions:

Charalampos Pelekis has an extensive experience in Soccer, serving as a coach in Academies of local football clubs.

In 2016, he was promoted to Director of Sports Department of SPORTCAMP, managing all the range of services offered with an active team of executives under his command.

George Pantelakis

TNBA GREECE TEAMS Head Coach

George Pantelakis was born on Piraeus, 11/01/1983. He is a graduate of the School of Physical Education and Sport Science from the Trikala University with major concentration in basketball and holds a coaches diploma of A Category. He boasts an extensive basketball coaching experience in many Greek clubs including Esperos, Proodeutiki and Olympiakos Piraeus where he currently serves as assistant coach in the Women’s Team.

George Lithopoulos

Strength & Conditioning Coach

George Lithopoulos is a graduate of the School of Physical Education and Sport Science with a concentration in Basketball. He is a championship holder and 4th place in Euroleague 2011 with the Women's Team of FENERBAHCE, Turkey, Romanian Cup holder with the Women’s Team of CSM Targoviste of 2012 and with the Men’s Team of ENERGIA ROVINARI. Since 2014 he joined the TNBA Greece team as Strength & Conditioning Coach.

Aggelos Varaveris

Sales & Operation Executive

Aggelos Varaveris was admitted to the "TEI of Epirus" in 2010.

He holds certifications from the "National & Kapodistrian University of Athens" in the thematic sections of "Business English" & "Marketing & Brand".

He has a lot of experience in Football, as he was a professional footballer and at the moment he continues as an amateur.

He started his career at SPORTCAMP in 2019 as an associate of the Sports Department.

With a creative spirit of cooperation, consistency and efficiency, today he has the position of Sales and Operation Executive in the Sports Department of SPORTCAMP, with main responsibility the International Sales.

Christos Papavenetiou

Sales & Operation Executive

Christos Papavenetiou has a BSc in Business Administration and Management, from the University of Patras (2006), and he specialized in “Human Resources Management and Business Management”.

He has a long-term experience in the field of sales and in customer service.

He started his career at SPORTCAMP in 2009 as a Sport Department’s associate.

He stands out for his diligence, his organizational skills and his commitment to the goals he undertakes.

In 2022 he took over the duties of Sales and Operation Executive in the Sport Department of SPORTCAMP.

Aggeliki Lagou

Executive Secretary

Aggeliki has been working in SPORTCAMP Group since 2019, as a member of SPORTCAMP’s Reception team.

Very quickly she stood out due to her excellent organizational skills, her natural gift of communication and her passion for personal and professional development. Her high-level professional performance led Aggeliki to undertook the critical Executive Assistant position.

Aggeliki has twenty years of experience in the telecommunications industry, specializing in quality service and supporting large corporate clients.

She is a graduate of the Political Science and Public Administration Department of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) and has completed specialized training programs, in the topics of “Hotel and Tourism Management" and "Marketing Mix and Branding"), organized by NKUA.
