Under the organization of the Hellenic Table Tennis Federation and the support of the European Table Tennis Federation, Sportcamp sports training center will host the Europe Youth Series Greece Open in its facilities!

Back in 1973 and 1987, Greece hosted the European Youth Championship, which underlines the importance of the event for our country after so long.

The tournament in Loutraki pleased the president of Hellenic Table Tennis Federation mr. Konstantinos Papageorgiou, who prioritized the international competitions from the first moment of assuming his duties, 22 months ago. He thanked the ETTU for the trust in the Greek federation after the successful European Top 16 in Thessaloniki. For the Europe Youth Series he pointed out that they are based on an interesting form, which gives new motivation to the athletes of the children and teenager categories. "I want to thank the ETTU very much for the trust they have shown in us after the very successful organization of the Europe Top 16 Cup, in September 2021. We are now undertaking one of the debut events of the Europe Youth Series, it is an important effort of the ETTU, which I hope the European countries will support", said the head of the board of directors of the Greek federation and continued: "I am very happy because it is one of the goals, which we individually and as a new administration have set: to bring major international events in Greece. I want to emphasize that in these almost two years we have done better than even the most optimistic would have expected in terms of claiming and taking on international competitions"

The competitive part will be held in Sportcamp's indoors hall and multi-purpose hall, while the participants will be accommodated in hotels in the city of Loutraki. Transportation to and from the airport is also provided, as well as from the lodges to the sports center.
