Sportcamp, continues to implent  important events, and once again carrying out the brilliant event of the Panhellenic SPECIAL OLYMPICS Games which is going to be heard  everywhere! The  PANHELLENIC SPECIAL OLYMPIC GAMES LOUTRAKI 2022 are coming, from October 2 to 7, to show sports in one of its best versions, in that special one that, by its character, creates the basis for the progress of important goods and characteristics that all of us must appropriate.

As a well-known place for attracting sports events, the city of Loutraki will host 900 athletes from Greece and Cyprus, who will compete in more than 7 sports and will convey  the competitiveness, solidarity, teamwork.

At  Sportcamp facilities as well as those of the Municipality will be held some of the following sports,  Boccia, Basket, Τrack, Swimming, Ping Pong, Football  και Cycling, which will announce the Winners. 

All sports will be held daily from Tuesday 4th to Friday 7th October between 9:00 and 14:00. All athletes who will compete will be awarded one of the 8 medals.

 During these days, will be held remarkable activities ! 

•  Τhe Healthy Athletes Program will include 5 specialties of Doctors and health professionals (Dentists, Ophthalmologists, Physiotherapists, Orthopedists, Dieticians - Nutritionists), thanks to whom the athletes will be given the opportunity to be examined for free
• The Family Forum in which not only the athletes have the opportunity to participate, but also our relatives, coaches, volunteers and supporters, an action that through the information they will receive will bring them closer.
• Next is the Unified Youth Festival  which will be the occasion for students without disabilities and for athletes to communicate, have fun and develop friendships by participating in inclusive, sports and artistic activities
• Come with us! Development Program, involving athletes, coaches and coordinators from the 15 regions of Greece that belong to the Special Olympics Hellas Development Program, with the support of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, will highlight the impact this has on the lives of people with mental disabilities and on local communities.
• Young Athletes,  where the youngest athletes of Special Olympics Hellas, aged 2-8, will participate in a series of specially designed activities.

The start will be in joyful rhythms onTuesday, October 4  at 19:00 at the Beach Park of Loutraki, while the Closing Ceremony will be held at the SportCamp Open Theater on Friday, October 7, at 19:00..
